Hi everyone,
I’m very happy to get back to you this month on this screens theme. I love using them to create original backgrounds. For this first layout, I took a white paper and I misted some Oriental Poppy Glimmer Mist on a screen that I stamped on the background paper. Then, I misted another Glimmer color, “Tuscan Sun”, and I created a few stains with some Glimmer Glam Organic Garden. Finally I left a drop of Glaze Waterfall and I blew through it to create drips. I love the effect of Glimmer glaze when heated with a heat gun.
My second project is a layout using Christmas colors. I used some Apple and Rum punch Glimmers mists and a touch of Sun sisters. Once again, I misted the Glimmers on the screen before I stamped it on the white background paper. The white flower is painted with some Organic Garden Glimmer Glam. To finish, I coordinated the tones of the layout thanks to lighter colors like some Vanilla Breeze and Vintage Pink.
Finally, for this last project I misted some Coffee shop and Harvest Orange Glimmer Mists on a flower stencil from The Crafters Workshop. Then I used a paintbrush to add up some Hay Ride Glimmer Glam to get a glittery effect. After I arranged my photos and the dried leaf, I added up the Chalkboard Sprout to bring some contrast.

I recently began playing with Glimmer Mist to create backgrounds – I absolutely LOVE the look, especially with the stencils.
However, my cardstock warps very badly and I end up throwing everything out. What am I doing wrong?
