Hi everyone! My name is Anna Björklund and I’m so very happy and honored to be a part of this fabulous team for 2012! I live in Sweden with Johan and our kids Linus, Alva and Tuva. I found my way into the world of scrapbooking in 2003 and I just love it more and more. I’d say that my style is sometimes simple, sometimes messy and sometimes both.
Today I’m sharing the projects I created for my DT submission.
This layout is called “studsa” which means “bounce”. I splattered some Glimmer Glam Rockin’ On Sunshine over my background. The cheese cloth was colored with Glimmer Mist Cherry Blossom and the scalloped circle was colored with Glimmer Mist Patina. On top of the mist I splattered Glimmer Glam Mermaid. The chipboard letters were coated with gesso and then painted with Glimmer Glam Organic Garden.
My second project is a small canvas, 10×10 cm. I created the hand using Modellig Paste and a stencil that I made out of cardboard. I painted everything with acrylic paint and then added the stars with white gesso and a stencil. On top of the gesso I then added Glimmer Glam Golden Goddess. The hand was painted with Glimmer Glam Mermaid and Chandelier and I also used Chalkboard Glimmer Mist Chalk over my entire canvas. I used Glimmer Glaze Pewter to create a shadow around the hand. The letter stickers were painted with Glimmer Glaze Orange Crush and I added Glimmer Glam Golden Goddess to the fabric I attached around the edges of my canvas.
My last project is a very yellow layout. The background was created using Modelling Paste and acrylic paint. I then painted parts of the background with Glimmer Glam Rockin’ On Sunshine and Glimmer Glam Paprika. Inside of the rub on letters I used for my title (konsert) I added Glimmer Glam Pink Lipstick. The small piece of lace was colored with Glimmer Mist Cherry Blossom.
