Today our June Guest Designer Natassa Blazaki share bring us a fantastic mini book made with our Architextures 8×8 paper pad. Natassa tell us: I was inspired so much by the gorgeous designs of Architexture papers, that I wanted to make the most out of them!
As always, I didn’t follow any standard measurements. Instead I tried to make an album that is easy to reproduce and that no paper is wasted.
For the envelopes, I used 220gsm solid brown cardstock, size A4. For the album’s binding I used eyelets and some jute string, but binding rings can also be used.
The front and back covers have side pockets inside and measure 6 5/8” x 4 1/4″. The envelopes measure 6 1/2″x 4”. The tags inside the envelopes, measure 5 5/8”x3 1/8”.
To give a more vintage look, I distressed the edges with Distress Ink “Frayed Burlap”. To embellish the album, I used some bronze charms from my stash.
More details and a brief tutorial, on how to construct the envelopes, will be posted on my blog.
I really hope you like it!
