Art Journaling in the Mix and Match Book

Hello! Here is Julia Cotrim with a very special art journal project in this very beautiful and inspiring 7 gypsies Architextures Mix and Match Book. I love art journals and mixed media and I decided to start a new book where I can keep sketches, techniques and ideas for other projects.

I worked with four colors of Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist to make the background for the flowers.

I loved the touch of glimmer on my flowers! It add a little playfulness to them.

The sentiment was created with a tag that comes with the Mix and Match Book and with Tim Holtz Small Talk stickers.

The Mix and Match Book have 8 different styles and 5 sheets each of 2-sided printed papers and the easy to open ring allows you to move, add or remove pages.
The book can be closed with a chocolate color elastic keeping all your treasures close at hand.

The Mix and Match Pad is a great base for any kind of project – both vintage and modern.
As you can see, even the colorful flowers work perfectly on the distressed, plain background.
