I’d like to show you a layout that I particularly like because it is full of colours and texture! I used pictures shot last year by my friend and photograph Valerie (website Les Jolis Moments). I really liked these pics and I never took the opportunity to scrapbook them.
With a plastic card, apply lavishly some gesso on a white cardstock. Stay focused on the middle of your cardstock.
Tilt your card and create lines on your background to give it more texture.
Let it dry for a long while.
Choose the colours of your inks according to your pictures. I chose blue and green.
Spray the first colour. Mine will be Dark Blue. To lighten the shade and spread the colour, lavishly spray water.
Add the other colours and spray water, tilt your page to make the inks run and create nice effects.
Once you’re happy with your mix, let it dry.
Then stamp a pattern with blue ink. A gentle way to work on your background.
My background is now ready to use. I added some stickers and 7Gypsies leaves and my pictures and it is done!
I hope you will be inspired by my creation! See you next month!
Have a nice day!
Karine
