Bingo Cards Art Journal and Wedding Favors

Hi everyone! I think the Art Journal pages that have been posted this month are amazing! These girls are awesome! For my art journal pages I used the Tattered Angels Bingo Boards and Calling Cards. Because the cards are pre-printed, it was easy to get an interesting background for my pages without a lot of stamping and such. Before I applied any of the Glimmer Mists, Glazes or Glams; I dry-brushed some areas of the pages with a cream colored acrylic to fade the background back a little bit.

Products Used: Tattered Angels Bingo Boards and Calling Cards; Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist (Sun Sisters, Lemon Grass, Key Lime Pie, Meadow Green, and Marmalade); Tattered Angels Glimmer Glaze (Emerald Cove); Tattered Angels Chalkboard Glimmer Mist (Sprout); Tattered Angels Glimmer Glass; Prima Mask; and Making Memories Letter Stickers.

Products Used: Tattered Angels Bingo Boards and Calling Cards; Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist (Sun Sisters, Lemon Grass, Key Lime Pie, Meadow Green, Marmalade, Coral Reef, and Bell Bottom Jeans); Tattered Angels Glimmer Glaze (Orange Crush); Tattered Angels Chalkboard Glimmer Mist (Alaskan Salmon); Tattered Angels Glimmer Glass; and Prima Mask.

Products Used: Tattered Angels Bingo Boards and Calling Cards; Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist (Sun Sisters, Lemon Grass, Key Lime Pie, Delphinium, Frost, and Bell Bottom Jeans); Tattered Angels Glimmer Glaze (Midnight Rendezvous); Tattered Angels Chalkboard Glimmer Mist (Cornflower Daze); Tattered Angels Glimmer Glass; Prima Mask; and Prima Gems.

This month I also created a wedding project. I made three versions of wedding favors going from simple to a little more effort. This gives you options depending on how many favors have to be made or how much time or money can be allocated to production of the favors. Instructions for how to make these will be provided in the next Tattered Angels newsletter.

This first favor is the easiest to make of the three sets. The box is kept simple and the focus is on the patterned ribbon and tiny rose detail.

Products Used: Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist (Turquoise Blue, Key Lime Pie, and Lemon Zest); Tattered Angels Chalkboard Glimmer Mist (Firefly); Miniature White Paper Roses; White Paper Favor Boxes; and Printed Ribbon.

This favor takes a little more time to make than the first set. Because the ribbon is kept simple, visual interest is created by using a masking technique to add a pattern to the box.

Products Used: Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist (Turquoise Blue, Key Lime Pie, and Lemon Zest); Tattered Angels Chalkboard Glimmer Mist (Firefly); Tattered Angels Glimmer Glam (Chandelier); Tattered Angels Fanciful Stencils Glimmer Screens; Orange Paper Roses; Silk Leaves; Colored Tulle; and White Paper Favor Boxes.

This favor is the most elaborate of the three sets today. The box uses a similar technique as set 2, but an additional stamping step is added and the butterfly is hand painted.

Products Used: Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist (Turquoise Blue, Key Lime Pie, Coral Reef, and Lemon Zest); Tattered Angels Chalkboard Glimmer Mist (Alaskan Salmon and Firefly); Tattered Angels Glimmer Glam (Chandelier and Peach Bellini); Tattered Angels Fanciful Stencils Glimmer Screens; Tattered Angels Regal Classic Accents Screen Prints Clear Stamps; Prima Paper Butterflies; Orange Paper Roses; Silk Leaves; Brown Ribbon; Colored Tulle; White Paper Favor Boxes; and Brown Chalk Ink.

Well, that’s it for me today. Thanks for stopping by the blog, and I hope you all are having a nice weekend!  Patty
