It is time to start thinking about Mother’s Day gifts and we created the perfect little gift that keeps giving all summer long to your garden loving mom, grandma or that special teacher.  This crate is pint size but is filled with well wishes, gift cards to Mom’s favorite places and garden quotes to make her smile.

Start with this simple little crate and fill it up with fun pockets, file folders, envelopes and other hiding places adding fun sayings, gift cards, little notes, special memories, photos of the garden, etc.  This little crate is sized to fit business cards, gift cards, ATC cards and other little treasures.

Here are a few of the secret goodies you will find inside the crate.

Create a little pocket with the burlap, paper and fussy cut bees and slip in a Lowe’s gift card.  Cut two pieces of burlap and stitch or glue them together at the edges to make a pocket.  The Birds & Bees paper has amazing art that is great to cut out and add to any garden themed projects.  They are great as they are or color them in the add fun color to your projects.

Create a pocket filled with sunshine and slip in a Starbucks gift card.  Sew two pieces of canvas together to make this little pocket and cut down the canvas to show off the card letting the frayed edges show.

Create this little bicycle tag and add a fun little saying – Fairies Gather Here.

This hummingbird tag is a perfect little filler and sits atop one of our mini kraft bags that is the perfect hiding place for another gift card or little note.  Creating these little mini bags on their own with a special gift card makes a great teacher gifts.

Cut up the Seed Packets on Ivory and add them into the pockets to say sweet little things.  Create 6-8 different tags, pockets and gift card holders and slip them into the mini crate and gift it to someone very special.   These are also perfect for adding to the front of cards and fit perfectly on our coin envelopes.
