Hello, it’s Marie J. here!
The new 7gypsies Architextures™ papers are really beautiful and work for all kinds of projects.
Today, I’m here to share the layout I made with the fantastic “Smile for Camera” paper. I love that the papers are double-sided and for this project I used the back of the paper.
I´m a big fan of ‘Game of Thrones’ and wanted to feature Daenarys in a project and this paper works really well with the photo I found.
As I wanted to create textures that looks like dragon skin from one of Daenary´s dragons, I prepped the surface with clear gesso. Then I added modeling paste trough a stencil and when completely dried, I added different shades of Tattered Angels Glimmer Mists. I both sprayed, dribbled and splatted the mists over the paper, drying it with a heat gun to seal between the layers. I really love how it turned out.
I cut out one of the frames from the Architextures™ 12×12 Paper – Ornate Frames and added it as base for my cluster. I also added 7gypsies lace and pieces from Architextures™ Findings (Iron Fence & Ornate Garden Stakes).
I also added flowers and a piece from the Architextures™ Short Base Borders.
I´m really pleased with how the layout turned out!
