Let us show you how to do it…
Viktoriya Porechnaya designed an Antiques Treasure project in which she even used pieces of the Architextures packaging!
‘I completely fell in love with the Architextures line! I love the vintage style and unique objects. They are all ready to use and you can create your antique treasure easily with amazing result! I only added some vintage color touches with Tattered Angels paints to my project – how cool is that?!’ – excites Viktoriya.
Materials used:
7gypsies Architextures 8×8 Paper Pad
7gypsies Architextures Treasures Weathered Lady Statue
7gypsies Architextures Junque Pack – Parlour
Tattered Angels Glimmer mists: Verdigris and Tattered Leather
Tattered Angels Decor& DIY Sable
Thick cardboard
Glue
Tools:
Scissors
Brush
Stencil
Sponge
To start, choose the background paper- I chose a back side of the Stenciled Crate Paper from the 8×8 pad and cut various small frames from the Ornate Frames Paper.
Cut the big frame out from the same paper and glue it onto a thick cardboard to add dimension.
From the Junque Pack – Parlour, remove the piece of Old Wallpaper and stick on the the background-it’s so easy!
Add some vintage touches on the base – use stencil, sponge and Sable Decor&DIY paint. Let it dry and then paint randomly with TA mists.
Add dark tones on edges of the big frame – use a sponge with remains of the DIY paint. This will give the frame more 3D look.
Glue the base and frames onto a thick cardboard to give them dimension and make them more sturdy.
To add layers and details use a small “metallic” frame from Parlour, cut out words from the packaging of the elements and some metal charms.
As the main feature, I chose Architextures Treasure – Weathered Lady Statue. Remove it from its packaging and stick onto your project. Easy too!!
Distress the edges and add splashes of TA mists for a more “vintage” look.
