7gypsies Architextures™ is probably the most innovative collection of items, from paper to special made decorations, to embellish your projects. The collection includes a range of vintage elements that except of looking they feel like the real ones; glass bottles look and feel like glass, leather suitcases are smooth like finished leather and the dress form has a soft body like the real thing. Their background adhesive surface makes them easy to be placed on many surfaces.
Crew member, Christine Santos shows us in her project how versalite in use is the 7gypsies Architextures™ collection combined with Tattered Angels paints to CREATE a true “fairy” project.

Other materials: Gesso, Texture Paste, flowers, beads, glitter, stencil
Step 1 – Prime the letters with gesso, except for the front and let dry completely.
Step 2 – Adhere the Architextures papers on top of each letter and let dry completely. Cut out the excess papers with a sharp blade on a cutting mat.
Step 3 – Adhere small pieces of the Triangle Grid Tall Base Architextures on some letters. The Triangle Base is white when you start, but you can color it with your favorite mediums, test a few out and see what you like. It is like putting texture medium down without having to wait for it to dry, exciting and it looks amazing.
Step 4 – Add some stenciling with texture paste and let dry completely and add some Parchment Rub-Ons to add a look of distressed stamp art that is so easy to add, just cut the art piece from the parchment sheet and rub onto the dry surface.
Step 5 – Layer the Tattered Angels Mists on the textured letters, drying on each layer of color.
Step 6 – Add some clusters on select letters by fussy cutting some images from the Enjoy Stash Paque, then adding some flowers, rope, and other media around it.
Step 7 – Add some extra Architextures on some letters for interest and dimension. The vintage hanging light is part of the Architectures Junque pack that is filled with wonderful faux finishes and dimensional decor art. The adhesive piece looks and feels a bit like the real thing, it is so cool. There are 8 total Junque packs to choose from and we know you are going to love them all.
Step 7 – For extra gorgeous glimmer, spritz some Tattered angels Pearl Glimmer Mist all over for the final touch.
