Create your own patterned paper with stencils and glimmer mist!

Hi there, welcome to the Tattered Angels blog!

Did you ever think that you can’t do “clean” layouts using glimmer mists? I will show you today that you were wrong! 🙂

Who says you have to spray directly on your background? Why not create patterned paper and use it as any other patterned paper?

I used a stencil from Stencil Girl and sprayed 4 blocks next to each other to create a square. Make sure to cover up the surrounding paper around each block before spraying. Use “soft”  cardstock, I mean cardstock with an “open” texture that makes the glimmer mist soak in right away.

This way the mist doesn’t run under the stencil and gives you a clean an crisp image.

Just cut up paper created this way into blocks, strips or any shape you like to use on your “clean” and simple  layout.

Here’s what I did:

The colors I used aer Aquamarine, Olive Vine, Candy Corn and Bubblegum Pink.

To give the Prima flowers some sparkle I sprayed them with Dazzling Diamonds. This has no color only glimmer and is perfect if you don’t want to chancge the color of your object but just want to glimmer it up!

And here are some more details:

Thank you for stopping by. Have a lovely sunday!

Happy misting!

Birgit

Great layout. Too bad I don’t have the screens although I did create my own background using Tattered Angels products. Love the glams and mist’s…
