Creative Faces ATC Cards with Tattered Angels Paints

Lynne is sharing a little Tattered Angels fun on the Blog today with these amazing ATC card, so fun and so artsy!!!!  The Tattered Angels Paint Collection offers a wide range of paint options that work so well together including the Mists (Glimmer Mist, Chalkboard Mist, Simply Sheer and Baseboard – sheer mists that will tint just about any surfaces – unless it is slick), High Impact (amazing paint that is oh so ready to be a part of any mixed media projects – paints so well on burlap, textured wood, fabric and just about any surface with a smooth amazing finish and Glimmer Glaze (we like to think of it as our nail polish for crafting projects – you apply it the same way – shake and apply with a brush.)  Add a great stencil and some Kraft paper and wow what you can do.

CREATIVE FACES ATC’S

Hello Tattered Angels Fans!  I have to say….I had TONS of FUN just playing around!  I pulled out a piece of Canvas Corp Brands Journal lines on Kraft and cut out a few ATC’s.  I then dug through my stash of Tattered Angels and chose various different products to work with!

…..then I let the creativity begin!  My goal….to create “outside” of my creative box and you will notice there is not a flower to be found ANYWHERE!

I applied White Stucco texture medium through the Crafter’s Workshop Stencils I chose for my first ATC. Once dry, I painted on a bit of Glimmer Glaze with a paintbrush, applied Black ~ High Impact with a makeup sponge through the stencil, dripped on a bit of Antique Gold ~ High Impact.  With a VERY THIN paintbrush, dipped in Black ~ High Impact, I outlined the face.  Lastly, I accented the lips with a bit of Glimmer Mist.

For my next ATC….aka Pocket Letter

First, using a sponge brush, I dabbed a bit of Glimmer Mist through The Crafter’s Workshop stencil it bleed…but that was OK!  I thickly applied a layer of White Stucco texture medium through the off centered stencil.  When dry, I applied a layer of Perfect Glaze Medium.  I then painted, smudged, splattered away…..

Here is the last of my 3 ATC’s….

This time I applied High Impact through the Believe Script Stencil with a make up sponge….much better clarity!  More painting, smudging and splattering…then ending with a bit of Gesso rubbed on.
