Canvas Corp created a new line of papers they call their Heirloom Collection. The collection is very cool in that it brings together those random holidays, special days on the calendar, ways to capture the past cards, ways to plan the future cards and they are all in black and ivory, and coordinate with the entire paper collection. The idea behind the collection is to give you the tools to create Creative DIY projects that are fun, functional, and pretty. Here are some great examples of how the papers are used, each of them are so different, and that is why we like the collection so much.
We kick things off with the Heirloom Collection – Calendar Months Paper. A fun paper to add to your agenda pages, you planer or make a wall calendar.
Crew member, Emeline Seet created this adorable wall calendar with a 7gypsies tray that sums up the 12 months with pretty things and little memories. These same great ideas can become a journal, scrapbook or planner. Use the calendar month paper to write down special events, birthdays, anniversaries or maybe an upcoming vacation.

Love this sheet of Heirloom cards, the paper has 6 different cards and you can capture many family memories, there is even one for the family pet. Printed on ivory paper, they have a beautiful look before your personal hand writing and touches are added. You can distress them even more with Tattered Angels simply Sheer Mists.
If grandparents are still around, ask them to write in their own handwriting or jot down the memory for them and you will have them forever.
The cards are 4″x6″ when cut down and fit perfectly into the 7gypsies photo crate and 4″x6″ file folders. The crates area great way to organize by family me member, family, year, etc. Store old photos, copies of things from the past and then fill out the cards to help you remember the details.
