DIY No Sew Fall and Halloween Wreaths

We have been having a great time this year with the Canvas Corp Fabric Panels.  They measure 13″x17″ and are filled with artwork of fun themes, seasonal and vintage inspired art.  They are a great craft supply even if you don’t sew and Gina shows us how to make these quick, simple and trendy wreaths with no sewing required!!!

You can create them for Fall, Halloween or everyday for the door, over the mantel or wherever you like to decorate each season.  The fabric gives the wreath a handmade look that is simple enough you can show off your house numbers, a special date, holiday decor, family name, the options are endless.

Let’s start with the first wreath Gina created featuring house numbers and DIY burlap flowers.

What you will need for wreath 1:
Tools Used:  Scissors; Hot Glue; Plastic ball-shaped straight pins

Step 1:  rip or cut your fabric into strips.  You will probably needed 1-2 panels depending on the size wreath you choose.  You can decide who wide you want the strips and then wrap them around the form covering all sections, using a glue gun and pins to put it all in place.  You can also use a liquid glue like Beacons’s 3 in 1 or FabriTac designed to hold fabric in place and glue it to a wide range of surfaces.
Step 2:  Cut circles from your burlap sheet and smaller circles from the black canvas sheet to create you flowers – scrunch them up and create flowers gluing them into place on your wreath.  The cluster looks great and very trendy.
Set 3:  Add your numbers, letters, sayings or decor – if you are planning to leave your wreath outside you might want to choose your decor based on how it will handle the elements.  You can attach with pins or tacks if you want to change the decor out for different seasons.
Step 4:  tie a piece of tulle at the top as the hanger.
