Hello, Angélique Jarrier from Boule de Scrap here.
Today, I present to you my planner of 2018, which I decorated with Architextures papers.
As a base, I used a simple diary which I got as a gift with a magazine. I didn’t like it the way it was so I decided to decorate it to reflect my tastes.
Materials used to alter the diary:
Architextures™ 12×12 Papers – Junk’n, Painted Doors, Market Signs
Architextures™ Findings – Angel Wings and Vintage Keys Collection
7gypsies Tickets
Canvas Corp Bookmarks (50) Ivory and Kraft
Canvas Corp Cards/Envelopes Gift (8) Ivory
Canvas Corp Burlap Fringe – Natural Burlap
Canvas Corp Cord- Jute Balls Natural 225′
Tattered Angels High Impact Paint – Ivory
Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist – Wheat
Distress Inks, Glue
Metal gears and charms
The process was pretty straightforward as I have covered the planner with pieces of various Architextures papers, the edges of which I beforehand inked with my Distress Inks to age them a bit.
I also used my Glimmer Mists to add some contrast and shine.
- We are going to use bookmarks to create our intercalary. For that, you just need to stamp the pattern for our choice on top of the bookmark and fussy cut it out. I chose vintage patterns to match my theme.
- I used an envelope to create a pouch. This one will allow to tidy up our bookmarks and keep any stickers that you want use on your pages.
- To build the cluster on the front cover, layer pieces of Architextures papers with chipboards and metal elements.
I hope you like what I’ve done with my diary.
Have a great crafty day!
