Where do you reside? I am from a small rural area in the Riverina in New South Wales, Australia called Tarcutta, where we own a small lifestyle farm.
Describe your design style…. I find it really hard to describe my style, and don’t like to say it is one specific style. I am willing to experiment with new products and try new things, but I have always loved heritage & vintage.
Who or what do you give credit to inspiring your creativity?…. Hmmm… Finnabair, Dyan Reaveley, Lisa Oxley, Kylie Tout
What inspires you most today?…. Colour and texture. I am just fascinated by what you can do with it.
What is your favorite Canvas Corp Brand Product? and why?…. WOW so hard to pick just one, but I would have to go with Tattered Angels products. I feel like you can just do so much with them, a sheet of paper, and a few embellishments.
What is your favorite project you have created using CCB Products?
Why is it your favorite?
I just love the colour and the way the background developed. I used a Tattered Angels kit and it was an extremely humid day, and the effect was awesome.
Do you teach and if so tell us a bit about what you teach, where you go and some of your favorite places?
Yes I do teach and have done so for over 10 years. I do monthly classes and once a year I jointly run a weekend of intensive classes called Gundy Scraptacular where I teach. This year we are making a mini album using the Mix and Match Pad called Boots and Saddles, and we have 30 ladies attending this is in October.
I am the happiest doing….. spending time with my family, and when I am in my studio creating. I find this an amazing outlet from life’s stress.
My favorite place to be creative..… In my studio
Tell us one cool detail about your studio or craft space… I love that I have lots of natural light coming into the room, but its too messy to share a picture of LOL
Tell us one thing fun about you we might not know… something that you may not know about me is that I suffer from chronic lymphedema in my legs which can be quite debilitating but I refuse to let it win.
Share with us anything about your creative life that you feel would inspire others…. There is no such thing as a mistake – its all creative.
