We are inspired by the world around us and love to showcase new and exciting artist, designers and crafters and our guest designer series is a great way to inspire our Crew as well as each one of you to try something different, show off a new style or help you think outside of your creative box, so from time to time we like to invite crafters to be our Guest Designer/Blogger for a month to challenge us to see things in a different way and so that we may learn more about our products through the eyes of a new designer. This month we have invited Takako R known as @little_pink_sheep on Instagram . Takako share & inspire us with all things that has to do with stationary, letters, journals and small vintage snippets.

“My name is Takako R. I’m originally from Japan, living in the US. I love playing with papers and must admit I’m a paper hoarder. I enjoy making file/portfolio and art journaling. I also love collecting vintage ephemera and books. My works are shared on my Instagram account (username: little_pink_sheep).”

I made a junk journal to embrace every little detail of the beautiful antique/vintage images on the Architextures Paper Pad Collection #1.These paper pads were full of inspiration and worked really well with the vintage book pages in my collection as well as the tea dyed papers.

The Treasures (Coffee Jar) and Trinkets (China Tea Cup) were great additions to the journal to create even more unique looks & textures. I had lots of fun playing with all of them.

Materials & tools used:
*Architextures 8×8 Paper Pad Collection #1
*Architextures Trinkets – China Tea Cups
*Architextures Treasures – Sunshine Coffee Jar
*Architextures Salvage Art – Drawer
Vintage book pages, Tea dyed papers, Lace, Rubber stamps (OURS, Yohaku, Tim Holtz), Ranger Distress Oxide (Vintage Photo), Tsukineko StazOn (Ganache), Ranger mini round ink blending tools, Tim Holtz paper doll (used on a small tag), Groumets, Groumet punch, Hemp Twine, Sewing machine
