Flowers For Mom – simple shabby chic card

After a very, long and very cold winter, I wanted to brighten my mother-in-laws days by sending her a bouquet of flowers. She loves her garden but it will be weeks before she sees any flowers starting to grow outside. With that in mind, I decided to make a simple shabby chic card instead.
I am Julia Chupik and I would like to share with you my newest project.

I created a nice little reminder that spring is coming so my mother-in-law can start planning her beautiful garden.

7gypsies Architextures 8×8 Paper Pad
Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist – Stone, Tarnished Silver
Distress Paint and Distress Inks
Matte Medium, Clear Gesso, Molding Paste
Flower Jar Stamp and Thinlit Set
Xyron Sticker Maker
Sizzix Side Kick
Tim Holtz Layering Stencil – Bubbles
Distress Edger, Heat Tool, Palette Knife

I loved these feminine yet grungy papers from the Architextures 8×8 paper pad.
They are the perfect compliment for the mason jar bouquet I created with the Flower Jar Stamp & Thinlet sets.
