Fun Colourful Collage with Ilana

Collage is a technique of an art production where the artwork is created using an assemblage of different forms and shapes using paper as well as other media. Sounds right up the CCB valley, right?!
With all the awesome Architextures books that you can use as journals, the never-ending supplies of Tattered Angels Paint and the variety of papers form CC, TA and 7g, making a collage just the way you like it will be a piece of cake!

Our Crew member, Ilana Polakiewicz, shares her mixed media collage, which she called ‘Home is not a place, it’s a feeling’.

This is what Ilana Polakiewicz says about her work: This is step by step project of a collage made in my art journal. It is a fun relaxing project that can be made using leftovers papers from other projects, Glimmer Mists and Architextures products. I am sure you are going to enjoy working on a project like this one yourself!

Tattered Angels Glimmer Mists – True Turquoise, Sun Sisters, Blue Bubbles
Tattered Angels Chalkboard Mist – Decadence
Hampton Art – Stamp – Tree
gesso, Posca Black pen
Oil pastels, watercolor pencil
glue and scissors

Done! Your beautiful, colourful collage is finished and, oh, how one-of-a-kind it is!
