Are you interested in trying out this thing called mixed media or maybe altered art in 2017 and just don’t know where to start? We will share fun and simple projects throughout the year that will help you get started and take the fear out of taking those first steps. Once you have a few techniques under your craft belt, you can unleash your creativity with full confidence.
Crew member Sheri Whitfield shares with us a simple mixed media tag featuring a nice range of Tattered Angels paints and a few simple techniques you can follow along with as she demonstrates on her YouTube Video.
“This is an altered tag I made from a number five shipping tag that had “mop up” color already on it. It features Tattered Angels Glimmer Mists and a few High Impact Paints. I used modeling paste and stencils to create texture and depth, which are then highlighted by the Glimmer Mists.” – Sheri Whitfield
