Art journalling is not something I do regularly, I tend to use it in times when creativity is at a low ebb or when I have issues rolling around in my head that need a voice. It is a cathartic activity and so generally more made up of emotions as opposed to considered creativity. I use whatever happens to be lying around without ever thinking about colour palettes and matching products. I never keep lists of what I’ve used in my art journals, suffice it to say I have used all four of the Tattered Angels paint mediums in these two pages: Glimmer Mist, Glimmer Mist Chalkboard, Glimmer Glam, and Glimmer Glaze.
This month’s wedding theme was lots of fun to play with and having a select colour palette to work with made it so easy. I don’t often do projects with pastel hues so I thought I would challenge myself to create something soft and romantic. If you follow the link it will take you to a page of gorgeous DIY projects all with instructions (done by the Design Team girls), including this Bride’s fan of mine.I was enjoying the pretty, subdued colours so much that I did a scrapbook page as well. I used my new Provocraft Cuttlebug with a music embossing folder, you can see it to the right of the photo, what a fabulous tool! Thanks so much for dropping by, be sure to check out this page for the DIY instructions to the DT projects, most are adaptable for any occasion.
