GOOD FOR THE CREATIVE SOUL CHALLENGE – THINK PINK

We love to do exchanges, support our team and do fun things that keep us creating.  In 2018  we want to push our dear Creative Crew into new creative adventures. We want them to push their limits, try new things and evolve their creativity. We decided to create a serie of out of the box challenges that we call “Good for the Creative Soul”.  We have figured out 1 special challenge each month.

As Breast Cancer awareness month so the crew needed to create monochromatic pink. They could use any technique/material they wanted but it must be 75 % CCB products.

Today we share the beautiful work from a few of our Creative Crew Members.

October is all about women & PINK! So for this challenge, I did a paperback updo! I covered the outside with Mixed Media Origins paper and spot colored different areas with my different Tattered Angels paints in varying pinks. The Grandma’s House Glimmer Glam has lots of glitter for great sparkle! I carved out some pages inside and used more Mixed Media Origins paper, focusing on women – even used part of the packaging! So many different women and underlying themes: sparkly bursts of color (our personalities), crowns (because we’re queens!), elegance, dressed up – even a little fairy girl and a unicorn because we love to dream!

Here is a card made on the occasion of the birthday of my niece who loves unicorns. I immediately thought of the canva to make the mane. And I also used it for the bottom of the card and the glimmer mist in pink tones.

We are in October (Fall) season and support for the “Think Pink” – Breast Cancer Awareness Month….we are sharing our support in CCB of the Good for the Creative Soul Challenge for 2018, I would love to share with you all my “monocramatic pink” project…..I created an “Altered Letter Envelope” I hope you all enjoy and are inspired by my project. As I created this envelope I couldn’t stop thinking of my grandmother who lost her battle when I was just a young child…and many others family and friends who have fought the fight and won and lost. I love them all and pray for a cure of cancer. I know creative ART can heals the broken spirit and heart with beauty and can bring a smile upon their faces as it as done for me.
