Where are you from?
I have recently moved to United Kingdom. Basically from India.
How would you describe your design style?
I love making textured projects and I usually work with a theme in my mind.
How long have you been creating?
I have been into clay art since 6 years and started working on mixed media and scrapbooking since a year.
What is your go to product right now?
Do you have a signature touch you like to include in all your pieces?
No – I have yet to find that
What advice would you give to someone who gets in a creative slump?
Simply remove all the negativity.. take a short break, release all stress, reset yourself and get started again with what you think you’re good at.
What is the oddest inspiration you have used for one of your projects?
Altering my son’s toy car.. which is in progress…
Tell us one thing that people might not know about you.
I have the Quality of being positive, no matter what.
How often do you create?
Do you jot down your ideas before you do them or do you create as you go?
Not really, just gather the theme components in mind before starting.
I am Happy to Guest Design this project for Canvas Corp brands this month using some amazing products from the three brands.
A bit about how I created this canvas – I gessoed my canvas first and gave it some texture to make it ready for coloring. Next I applied some beautiful pastel shades of glimmer mist sprays from Tattered Angels that added color as well as shimmer. I had some interesting architectural patterns from 7gypsies that I have used to create all that layering. These are textured and beautiful. I loved the vase that I put on top to make it prominent. It coordinated really well with the base layers.
After sticking all the elements together, I covered it all with heavy gesso and some more mists to bring everything together. Next I added some flowers to the vase. I had no idea how it’s gonna look, but it came out really pretty. Flowers never fail!
Did some background stamping and added a chipboard text that I covered with glitter. Some art stones and a one liner sticker saying “everything is beautiful”.. yes that’s true.. so be inspired!!
