Gypsy Travels to the Rebel Junk show in Santa Rosa, California

I was lucky enough to be in town on October 13, 2018 when Rebel Junk rolled into Sonoma County and took over part of our fairgrounds for their amazing show!!

Here is a bit about their organization from their Facebook page:

Rebel Junk is brought to you by Dixie DeRocher of the Funky Junk Sisters! We are SO excited to bring a fabulous and fun filled VINTAGE MARKET to Sonoma County, CALIFORNIA!
Rebel Junk is a gathering of hand picked vendors selling all their best junkin’ goods. The best part? It’s coming to a town near you!

Lots of vendors, tons of great junk, and FUN awaits the keen eyed JUNKERS! Great Local and Not so Local Artisans, Lots of Vintage Items, Fun Wood Signs, Jewelry, Candles, Garden Art, Antiques, Industrial, Farmhouse Decor and just all around good fun!

We have been voted TOP TRAVELING VINTAGE MARKET in the USA by FLEA MARKET STYLE magazine!
Named one of the TOP 25 Flea Markets in America by Romantic Homes Magazine!
Listed as a MUST attend Flea Market in America by Flea Market Decor magazine!

There are a few must sees when you visit the show…first is the red couch in the first photo (which is from their Facebook page).  People line up to get their photo take on the red couch.  There wasn’t a time when it was not being photographed, so I used their stock photo.  You can see why people love it so much!  The second must see are the Rebel Junk wings that are ready for taking photos with as well:

Now for some show images…let me just say there were so many unique hand made items at this event.  This was an upcyclers dream come true!

The first stop I made was this wonderful stall that had great images on pallets and planks:

This booth belonging to Rubie Skye Apparel has these wonderful dream catchers made from repurposed materials…  I mean look at how absolutely gorgeous that is…that lace!

And she made these amazing skull wall decor pieces.  When I spoke with her briefly she talked about wanting to make things old look new again and well that is just what a lot of us love about Canvas Corp Brands; they allow us to do just that!

There were also booths that had traditional collectible items… lots of pewter and silver items…

There were booths with wonderful vintage paintings and home decor:

Of all the booths, the one that I kept going back to was by this creative artist that made these amazing flowers from recycled metal.  I could not get enough of the booth by Barbie and Bella:

Wouldn’t those bare metal flowers be amazing with some Tattered Angels sprays on them….see what I mean…

So, if you have a chance to attend a Rebel Junk Show in your area, I say go!  You an visit their facebook page to find out where they will be traveling to next.
