Hi everyone, Mandy signing in from Australia to share some more misted projects. The design team has been having the best fun this month with the theme of everything is mistable.
Starting out with an easy one, an embossed card misted with Vintage Pink, a sweet transparency highlighted in shades of Paradise Pink, with a splash of Pewter to give a Melissa Frances plastic resin trim a nice metallic edge.
Wood is fabulous base for your glimmering projects. I started with a nice Chalk wash for a shabby chic canvas and seal the printed paper.
Then got a bit wild with the stamping, and lots of Gold followed with Golden Goddess used to back the plastic packaging from a butterfly stamp.
Altered books are my favourites and was excited to start on this book shadow box. Layers of Sugar Cane can create a great depth of colour and texture.
Then I grabbed the whole rainbow of colours to trim the inside including………..Waterfall… Mellow Yellow … and Flirty Red.
As Wendy says, commit to the mist! And come back soon to see what the rest of the design team has been misting.
