Give the scent of the holidays with this DIY Stenciled Canvas Tote and Pinecones. This is a wonderful host/hostess gift that is heartfelt but easy to create. Quick tip: we added a scent to the pinecones that will last through the holiday season. Just a brisk walk past this pinecone bag is incredible. No seriously, it fills the room with the nostalgic scent of pine and cedar…YUM!
To create the tote, we used the Holiday Garland Stencil from Royal Stencil and Tattered Angels Copper and Gold Metallic High Impact Paints. The tote is a drawstring tote from Canvas Corp which takes the paint like a gem (tote comes in 2 sizes).
Fill it with scented pinecones and add to a Thanksgiving centerpiece, Christmas mantel or give as a housewarming to keep the scent of the holiday alive!
