notebook from Elisabeth Robinson

“I found an old spiral bound shorthand notebook of my Mum’s. The pages are beautifully aged to a soft cream, so I decided to re-vamp the cover of this treasure with beautiful papers, rub-ons and vintage lace. It will sit beside me ready to make notes in as I dream of future projects to create.”

jewelry by ava gavlovski

“Lace makes everything romantic especially with a rustic rimmed glass frame. Die cut 2 circles, one to adhere the fan onto the glitter cardstock.

I adhere fan mounted panel to back side of glass frame. Thread a needle with thread and gather lace then adhere to the backside of the cardstock. Finish off back with a slightly smaller cardstock circle. Trim a length of wax cord for the necklace.”

I live with my partner and my two children, in a small village the North of Sweden. I work as a Intensive Care Nurse (with Cardiology as speciality). My "style" is colourful and playful. I often use a lot of papers and embellishments. I try to have the photo in focus, and to reflect the feeling of the photo in the layout. I also makes cards and altered projects. If I would call my style something - well maybe Playful Punk Chic? (if i do a romantic layout, I can´t help giving it a playful twist...)
