June Challenge “Urban Travel”

It´s summertime in a big part of the world and summer means traveling for many of us and that is what our June Challenge is all about. Let´s celebrate June with going on a journey. A journey to a city that you love, a city that you dream of or get inspired by the shiny surface of the white building. Make a project with graffiti, buildings on it. There is no limit to what you can do with this challenge – home decor pieces, water color paining, cards, tags or altered items. You can also incorporate items or colors from the moodboard.

To enter this challenge you need to link up your entry  Blog post, or post on Instagram, Facebook or Pinterest (link to the actual project – not the whole page) by using the linkytool below. You have until the end of July 5 to submit your project!  All submissions must have #ccbchallenge somewhere to be considered.

We will invite the winner of the challenges to be our Guest Designer in July. This means that they will get a box filled with goodies from all 3 Canvas Corp Brands to play with! 

We asked Alina Bartan, Yulia Popkova & Tatiana Klimshina from the Canvas Corp Brands Crew made these samples using Canvas Corp Brands products. If you are not familiar with the Crew, they are a part of one of the most dynamic, creative, positive, inspiring, world-wide design team in the industry. 

Alina tell us: I made a bookmark out of an old packaging, inspired by the cityscape. Using lace, canvas scraps, magazine cutout, gel medium, High Impact paint in Copper, Antique Gold and White, Tattered Angels Glimmer Glaze Shindig, Tattered Angels Glimmer Glam Luck O´the Irish & Organic Garden and Tattered Angels Chalkboard Mist Pot of Gold I created this piece that remind me of warm city nights.

Tatiana made this tray as a visualization of her travel dream. She tell us: I love to travel, this is my passion. I visited already more than 10 different countries from USA to Japan. Now I want to visit this amazing country New Zealand. I picked vintage New Zealand map and I used Spectacles as a magnifying glass, and increased the town I want to visit – Auckland. Hope that my dream will come true!

 Yulia tell us about her layout: I was inspired by the topic of travel and made a colorful page about the old city center of Varna, Bulgaria.
