Layered Butterfly Tag - "Spring & Butterflies" Challenge

Crew Member Monica Taylor loves butterflies & she believes they make great focal points. For the monthly challenge shecreated a layered tag and had with butterfly as focal point.

step 1

I cut corrugated paper into a 5 x 7 tag and tore off some of the corrugated strips and added distress ink. I added texture paste using a stencil . Once that was dry I added peeled paint distress crayon and Rusty Red Glimmer Mist.

step 2

I created a frame using a die cut and Kraft corrugated paper and aged it using Rust effect paste. I glued the frame onto my tag and then created three straws and glued them to my frame. I then tied some Camvas Corp twine around the tag and items.

step 3

I added some gear embellishment stickers and some leaves to the frame. Then glued the colored butterfly and chip quote.
