Hello, crafters! I am Steph Ackerman and I love to create journals because they can be specifically themed for someone or some place. A journal can be created to document anything or anyone. Journals can tell a story just by looking at the cover. This journal will be used to document my travels in 2018 so I have called it ‘My Adventure Journal’.

The Crafter’s Workshop Stencil
Paint brush, Molding paste, Ink
Place stencil on cardstock and paint portions of the stencil with Antique Gold High Impact Paint.
Cut the cardstock to fit the notebook. Place the stencil back on the painted image and paint again with Rose Gold High Impact Paint. Use molding paste to add phrase to the bottom of the journal. Spray cardstock with Sandy Beach and Priority mists. Using a finger, paint Antique Gold around the edges of the notebook.
Then, adhere a strip of ticking along the left side.
Use the stencil to create elements on a tag.
Spritz tag with Priority and adhere to the empty packaging from a 7gypsies Architextures product.
Adhere to a panel of red burlap.
Adhere a large burlap flower to the left corner and place a paper flower in its center.
Dab black ink around the journal for an aged appearance.
My travel journal is ready! I’d love to see yours!
