We all know how well Tattered Angels products work on flowers, papers, and embellishments. Every single project can be personalized using these beautiful painting products. I find myself gravitating to Glimmer Mist at every corner and I wanted to share with you today a few other ways to use Glimmer Mists, Glimmer Glams and Glimmer Glazes.
Hi everyone. Erika Taylor here today sharing with you a few projects created using Tattered Angels products with Gesso, Gel Medium, UTEE and embossing powders.
First off a very simple card created using Glimmer Mists and clear embossing powder. Emboss Resist is such a great technique and it pairs perfectly with Glimmer Mists. For this card I used Bell Bottom Jeans, Trunk Bay and Lemongrass Glimmer Mists to create some patterned paper. A really easy technique that packs a PUNCH!!!
Next off a piece that I created using some wonderful Autumn colors. This canvas uses Gel Medium, Gesso, and embossing powder as well as Glimmer Mists in Tiger Lily, Scarlet, Lemon Zest, and Tattered Leather. Love Love Love how this turned out with all the texture and shine.
And finally a little happiness care of some wonderful Chalkboard Glimmer Mist colors. Misting papers is super fun to do and you can really match anything under the sun. This layout was super fun to create using Nikki Sivils and Fancy Pants papers. For this fun layout I used Grape Ape, Inchworm, Polka Dot Pink, Firefly, Alaskan Salmon and Teal High Heel. I spray the entire piece of patterned paper and brayered over it to blend the colors just a smidge. Not my regular style of layout, but sweet right?
Try your hand at using Tattered Angels goodness with different mediums to see what you come up with. Glimmer Mist isn’t just for papers and flowers!!! Until next time. Toodles and Commit to the MIST!!!
