Marie Johansson loves the versatility of the 7gypsies paper collections and embellishments. It’s amazing how just a few scraps of paper, ephemera or decorations can take your project from finished to WOW!
7gypsies has been a part of my scrapbooking journey since the beginning. I remember the first thing I bought was a kit from a kit club that contained 7gypsies papers. Back then 7gypsies was not that common in Sweden and was really hard to get hold of, but whenever I found a piece I bought it. Nowadays I use the products on almost all my scrapbooking projects. I love the papers and the metal embellishments. Everything is really good quality and extremely usable.
Today I want to show you a mixed media style layout I made with papers from the Maritime, Harmony & Gypsy Moments Collections. The best thing about 7gypsies is that all the collections work so well together!
I have used a Maritime 12×12 paper as my background. I splattered Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist Gold and Baseboard Mist Coal over the patterned paper to add more interest. After it was dry I layered torn papers from the Harmony 6×6 paper pad and stamped over them with the Distressed Words Wood Stamp.
Small pieces of papers can really turn your project into something special. I have used 7gypsies Travel Tickets and a cut out from the Poses & Reflections paper (Gypsy Moments Collection) on my layout. A small metal heart and small metal studs help to draw the eye. A couple of sweet flowers and a flair from UmWow Studio finish off the layout.
I encourage you to explore the vintage awesomeness of 7gypsies products!!!
