Nostalgic Christmas Mixed Media Project

One of my favorite uses for Glimmer Mists is painting and I love to paint the Mixed Media Origins papers! My second favorite us for Glimmer Mists is to mist papers. This Nostalgic Christmas Project features all of my favorite Techniques!

Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist – Pop Rocks, Snowy Night, Pumpkin Spice, Wheat, Nougat, Pearl, Woven Burlap,  Festival, Sterling
Tattered Angels Glimmer Glaze – Soft Pewter

Canvas Corp Farmhouse Christmas Tags on Ivory Paper
Shaved Ice Glitter (Stampendous)

Cut Printed cardboard into 6 x 6 piece. Mist with Snowy Night Glimmer Mist. Splatter Cardboard with Splash Chalkboard. Mist with Pop Rocks Glimmer Mist and then splatter with Pumpkin Spice Glimmer Mist.

Paint Umbrella and dress with Pop Rocks Glimmer Mist.
Paint hair with Wheat Glimmer Mist. Highlight hair with Pumpkin Spice Glimmer Mist.
Mix Nougat Glimmer Mist, Chalkboard Chalk, and Pearl Glimmer Mist to paint face.
Highlight cheeks with Festival Glimmer Mist.
Paint furs with Sterling Glimmer Mist. paint puppy and umbrella handle with Woven Burlap Glimmer Mist.
Fussy cut image and set aside.

Fussy cut Peace, Comfort and Joy sign from Farmhouse Christmas Tags on Ivory. Mix Snowy Night Glimmer Mmist with Chalkboard Chalk to paint inside of sign. Paint edges of sign with Pewter Glimmer Glaze.

Fussy cut door from Architextures paper pad and add to background. Add girl to background.

Add Shaved Ice as accent. Finish by adding sign to background.
