Paint to Canvas

Hi, Jamie here. This month here on Tattered Angels we are giving you ideas on how to alter canvas with the wonderful Array of Tattered Angels Paints.

I wanted to show you how to enhance an existing project, So on this Prima Camera bag I took it to another level.  With Glimmer Mist and lots of it 😉 (colors used: Flower Power, Cranberry, Juniper, Dragon Fly and Turquoise Blue.) I used masks from the Fanciful Set.

Tip: If you plan on handling the project a lot you will want to seal it with Scotch Guard.  That will help seal the Mists to the material.

Here is my before

And the After 🙂

The next project it a little tote bag that I spruced up with Glimmer Mist and Glimmer Glaze.  The Jewels on the bag were altered with Orange Crush and Flirty Glimmer Glaze.  (Glimmer Mist Colors Used: Limited Editions Sun Sisters, Marmalade, Rum Punch, and Candy Apple Red)

The Screens used on this project were from the Fanciful set

Now for a little wall hanging I made.  Using Raw canvas.  I made the flower out of pieces of the material and then spraying it and glueing the petals together.  (Colors Used: Limited Editions:Trunk Bay, Bahama Blue, Rum Punch, Tuscan Sun, and Forest Green)

Hope I inspired you to pull out those canvases, maybe alter a tote bag, or create your own piece of art.  Mist on 🙂
