Well I am sure that you are all aware now that Tattered Angels had an awesome product release that Winter CHA 2012! Plain Jane added amazing products to the Tattered Angels range that are just going to blow your creative sock’s off, when you get to create and play with them!!!! Trust Me!!!!
I would love to share with you some of the fabulous creative fun I have had with some of the fabulous new Plain Jane products, and also 2 of the new release Paint System Clam Packs.
First up is a layout I created using the new release clam pack; Spain! This pack features Sugar Maple, Coffee Shop, Suede and Walnut Gold Glimmer mists. Oh my gosh! what a glorious grouping of colours!!! This range has such versatility; especially for vintage style creations! However in saying that I have taken a contemporary approach style wise and showcased how this range of Glimmer Mists can be used on a variety of mediums and elements; tissue paper, chipboard, and feathers.
On the background of this layout I have mist with the Walnut Gold quite generously, all over the tissue paper and then dried it with the heat gun. Drying it quickly like this helps to accentuate and highlight the gold element of the mist.
Next up is a layout I created using the wonderful new paint medium Stained Glass! aaaand yes I have used the same photo over and over again! My apologies! As it was for the booth and for the product brochures I didn’t think LOL 🙂
For this particular layout I have first created a butterfly shape on my background using gesso and a butterfly mask. Over the top I have then sprayed some of the Blue stained glass [in a mister bottle]. I have also painted the glitter title alphas with the same Blue stained glass paint.
For this next layout I used the new release clam pack; Holland. This pack features 4 glorious Glimmer Mist’s, Key Lime Pie, Pearl, Valentine Pink, and Tattered Leather.
I used pearl on the layout background, Valentine pink inside the chipboard heart and on the white feather, Key Lime Pie on the tip of the feather and the swirly pooled mist behind the photo, and Tattered Leather on the chipboard heart.
This last layout was also created for the Winter CHA 2012 new product release. This layout features the new Simply Sheer, Base Board and Stained Glass products.
On this particular layout I coated the background tissue in a generous spray of Light Blue Simply Sheer. The Prima title alphas and Prima leaves were painted with Aqua Simply Sheer as well as Blue Stained Glass. Extra splats of the Aqua were also added to the background. To give the layout a bit of a visual lift the photo edges were painted with Red Rocks Base Board.
Well that is all from me for the moment. I have had so much creative fun with the new Plain Jane range of products!!! I promise you will tooooo! 🙂 🙂 🙂
