Pretty in Pink & Red Handmade Gifts From the Heart

Valentine’s Day is just around the corner, there are lots of pink, and red everywhere you look. Those colors become extremely special when they are part of a handmade gift that comes from the heart. If you cannot find the perfect card, gift or way to say what you want to say, a handmade card or gift might just do the trick. Love Valentine Card

Valentine’s Day card made using CCB’s “Voyages” Mix and Match Pad. The background of the card is spritzed with TA’s Lobster Glimmer Mist, and then various papers were layered to create the front of the card. The bottom right corner is stamped and heat embossed. The “LOVE” sentiment is also stamped and embossed, using CCB’s “Be Beautiful” stamp set. Finally, to finish the card, I added some splatters using TA’s Java Glimmer Glaze.

 Happy Thoughts Watercolor Cards

This simple set of watercolor cards was so easy to create using the beautiful Seed Packets on Ivory Paper.  Simply cut out the six different designs into 4″x6″ cards and add a touch of color with Tattered Angels Mist and a beautiful tinted bias tape. Tattered Angels Mists can be applied with a brush to create a beautiful watercolor effect.  Simply shake the bottle and dip the brush in or pour the mist into a smaller cup and apply with your brush.  The variety of colors and mica that come together to make each color swirl and dry beautifully to create a watercolor with a touch of shimmer.  What was used:  Canvas Corp – The Watering Can: Seed Packets on Ivory; Tattered Angels Baseboard (Gerber); Paper Cutter; Paint Brush; Corner Rounder.

I Love You Card

Pretty in Pink is a fun way to say I Love You. Start with a Canvas Corp Stitched Card with Burlap and mist with your favorite pink Tattered Angels Mists. Mist an assortment of Petaloo DIY Flowers with the same pink mist to create a coordinating layer of flowers. Cut pieces of paper from Canvas Corp Pink & Ivory Mini Dot Rev, Pink & Ivory Toile and you can stamp, write, or cut out letters from the Canvas Corp Sending Love Words Paper.
