Hello Hello π
I do hope you are loving the ‘Resist’ & ‘Mist’ Inspiration!!! π
Today I would like to share with you some more wonderful resist and mist creativity from some wonderful creative Kids!
First up are a couple of fabulous art journal pages by 9 year old Charlotte π Charlotte attended an all day workshop that I taught last year! Charlotte really loved creating her own backgrounds, making handmade stamps and image transfer! Pretty fabulous for a then 8 year old HUH!!!! π π π
These above images are of some wonderful creations by 10 year old Holly. Holly has first hand drawn her images with crayon, then scrunched her pages up, then straightened them out and sprayed them with mist! Don’t you just love how the mist is highlighted in the cracks of the crayon drawings?!!!!! π π π
For my resist projects I took inspiration from Holly and used a white wax crayon. For the above layout I have used the crayon to create a simple resist pattern on my white layout background, and then sprayed over with with 2 wonderful shades of Chalkboard Glimmer Mist; Fairway, and Black Orchid. The extra splats of colour are Decadence Chalkboard Glimmer Mist.
For this last layout I have used the white wax crayon to highlight the circle pattern left after stamping with a mask and Monolith chalkboard glimmer mist. To highlight these areas I have again then sprayed with another brown chalkboard glimmer mist, London Fog.
Well I do hope you are enjoying all the wonderful inspiration by the team this month! I know I have been π
Cheers for now
