Step right in…

Are you loving all of the spaces, I sure am…and definitely jealous.  So how it’s my turn. I have a great room that gets lots of natural light, the only thing missing – someone to clean up after me.

I don’t know about you, but I never get far in my cleaning process because I usually come across something that sparks some imagination and I’d much rather play than clean.  Such is the case as I was prepping for this post, I had the best intentions of having a perfect space to show you, but… so here it is in reality.

First up, my main work space.  I can’t live without my XL Misting Mat. I love that it covers such a large chunk of my desk.  On the desk I have all of my essential tools within quick reach.

Across from the main space I have my sewing space. Both the main desk and sewing station are built from basic pressed wood that is placed on top of closet organizers.

I am definitely an ‘out in the open’ kind of girl, so I needed a special place for my mists.  I’ve had a vintage red shelf for several years and finally it has a good purpose. But with all of the wonderful colors they don’t stay on the shelf for long and often end up in a pile on my desk.

Finally a couple of tips for storing stamps and screens.  For my most used acrylic stamps I make little storage books. I simply alternate white cardstock and transparencies and bind them together using my bind it all.  This book houses all of my Tattered Angels Screen Prints. Screens are also always close at hand.  You may remember this box from our wood projects.  It has become the perfect holder for screens and other embellishments.

So now you’ve seen bits and pieces of my creative space, are you curious about the project that distracted me? Here you go…

Just a quick little canvas project. Using some of my favorite colors – Trunk Bay, Patina, Dragonfly and Suede. Along with Garden Tree Screen Prints and Espresso Bean Glam.
