Happy New Year everyone! Hard to believe it’s January already. I’m so excited that the focus this month is using Tattered Angels paints on canvas…because I *love* the look. That.. mixed with the fact that there are so any things that are canvas, that would be fun to “make beautiful”. I am using flat canvases for my projects, but again.. lots of choices on shapes, sizes and thicknesses, so you can really have fun. Wether you want to brush Glimmer Glam and Glimmer Glaze on lightly, or layer for more texture.. the end result is gorgeous. For this first canvas background I used Waterfall , and Pink Lady Glimmer Glaze, and Orgainic Garden Glimmer Glam. ( I found a set of those cool mirrored chairs at the $ store. Love it)

For the “love” canvas below I used only “Big Apple” Glimmer Glam and brushed it on with a foam brush. For the frames , I radomly brushed on a little “Sassy Silver” Glimmer Glaze and used “Black Magic” Glimmer Mist over all.
This little flat canvas was one of those “everything but the kitchen sink” projects… meaning I used a lot of this and that. Just had fun blending colors as I went.
I know it’s going to be a month of amazing creative inspiration from the Tattered Angels Design Team.. showing off their beautiful Glimmery Projects created on Canvas. I cant wait! We are so excited to be posting here on our new blog!
