Hello Hello 🙂
Hasn’t the Design Teams Texture creativity been wonderful and OTT Inspiring?!!!
Today I would like to share with you a twist on using texture and texture paste on your backgrounds.
For this first layout it may not be obvious what I have done so I have included a close up picture below to show you what I have done before completion of the layout. The wonderful blue mist on this layout is Dark Blue Plain Jane Simply Sheer Mist.
I began by stapling a feather to my background, then scraping a thin layer of texture paste over it and the background around it. I then applied a final coat of spray gesso.
For my next layout I again used texture paste and a feather but this time I used a chipboard feather embellishment.
As you can see from the above picture I have first attached the chipboard feather to the background. Then using a palette knife have applied texture paste around and on the edges of the chipboard feather.
The final step was to apply a coat of spray gesso.
For this particular layout I have used the wonderful Red Rocks Plain Jane Baseboard.
Well I do hope you have enjoyed this little bit of creative fun I have had with texture paste and the amazing Tattered Angels mist products.
Cheers and Happy Misting 🙂
