Tri-fold Summer Wedding Card

Summertime brings the season of Summer Weddings. Gardens and Parks are in bloom and the greenery is luscious and full with texture. Wedding photos are just perfect when nature provides the backdrop for beautiful photographs of the Bride and Groom’s special day.

I am Ava Gavloski and I have designed a tri-fold shutter summer wedding card card in a striking black and pink color tone to showcase the cream colored pattern paper by Canvas Corp.

Materials used:
Canvas Corp – His & Hers Mix and Match Pad – Stripe on Ivory

Black & Pink Cardstock
Scrapbook Adhesive by 3L
Rhinestones
Personal paper trimmer, scissors, scoreboard
Sizzix BigShot and circle dies

HINT: You can go to YouTube and search Tri-fold Shutter Card tutorials; there are plenty to select from.

Let’s Create a unique Wedding Card for a special Bride and Groom to be…

Cut base of card measuring, 12 x 5.5″ . Cut 2 lengths within the card base. Cut a slit 1.5″ from top edge, beginning at the 2″ score line and ending at the 10″ score line. Cut another slit, at the 4″ mark, (other outside edge) from the 2 to 10″ score line.

Score card base at 2, 4, 8 and 10″.

Fold the score lines (mountain and valleys) and soften the folds by opening and closing the card. DO NOT fold on the 1st 2″ panel or the 10″ score line panel (end of card).

Die cut and trim all images desired to embellish the Wedding card.

Trim the pink card stock and create mats for all the tri folded panels of the card base.

Mat the medallions with black cardstock.

Assemble pattern papers onto pink card stock mat panels and adhere to tri fold card.

And that’s how you make a striking Wedding Card.

Happy crafting!!!
