Using Tattered Angels on fabrics

This month, I had fun using my paints and mists to alter my fabrics. The thing I love about mist is that you can alter the colors of your ribbons or fabric to make it work for you. For example, I had this gray flower by Prima for over a year now and never used it. I just didn’t have the opportunity to use a grey flower so I decided to change the color by spraying mists (Harvest orange) all over it! I let it dry over night and what a nice difference it made! I made it work for me!

Here’s another layout I created using lots of mists and chalk to create a funky but fun layout! I made my own flower from a brown piece of trim and sprayed it with mists (Sun Sisters, Bahama Blue and Red Velvet). Then I lightly sprayed some Chalkboard ( Sprout) onto the trim. The colors together really look gorgeous if you look closely! I lightly sprayed the pattern paper with the Chalkboard (Sprout) and then added splashes of mists (Sun Sisters, Bahama Blue and Red Velvet in the background. This was such a simple layout. Notice how I didn’t use a bunch of embellishments? I used my templates and punches by Creative Memories with lots of mists and chalkboard to create a fun layout.

Here is a card that I made for a friend. I used Chalkboard Mists (Polka Dot Pink) on the piece of fabric. I altered the canvas flower with a layer of Glimmer Glaze (Midnight Rendezvous) and then sprayed the Chalkboard Mists on top of the Glaze using the (Polka Dot Pink) Chalkboard Mists.

At the last minute I decided that my lamp shade was looking kind of boring so I decided to change the beige color to this!! Isn’t it gorgeous? First I coated the shade using Red Velvet Mist. Then I put a coat of Glimmer Glam (Blue Suede Shoes) and then I sprinkled some Glimmer Glam (Midnight Rendezvous and Orange Crush) to make it more artsy.

I hope you enjoyed your stay! Have a wonderful day,

Nicole Martel
