With Valentine’s Day fast approaching, here’s a little quickie you can throw together for your sweetie using your scraps and CCB items! Products used:
7gypsies Ordre du Jour Go & Be paper
7gypsies Architextures Enjoy Stash Paque
7gypsies Architextures Old window paper
7gypsies Architextures Art Wall paper
Tattered Angels Glimmer Glam – Roses R Red, Grandma’s House
Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist – Pearl, Wedding Pink
Canvas Corp Red Burlap & Printed Canvas
Cheesecloth
Small wooden blanks (approx. 1.25″ x 2″)
Various trims & embellishments
Foam squares, E6000 glue, Matte Gel
For this 1st one, I cut out this gypsy from the Art Wall paper and painted the ruffled areas of her costume with Grandma’s House. I spritzed my little puffy wings with Wedding Pink and added a flowered trim down the side. I layered paper, then cheesecloth, then a fussy cut rose from the Stash Paque. I added some sparkle with a spritz of Pearl.
This one has a little industrial flare to it: printed canvas scrap, Roses R Red painted around the edges, and a sentiment cut from the Stash Paque.
This gypsy was sized down from the Old Window paper. I painted some Pearl over the areas of her headdress and cut out some pieces from the Go & Be paper, then added a little crystal embellishment.
With another sized gypsy for a backdrop, I added a piece of canvas trim down the side with a couple red dots and used foam squares to mount a fussy cut Valentine’s sentiment from the Go and Be paper.
What will your cards be like? We hope you’ll share them with us in our Facebook CCB Collective – we’ll be looking out for them!
Happy crafting!!!
