Hello! It’s Ava here today and I’d like to share with you how to add some color to your announcements.
Any kind of announcement can be brightened with Tattered Angels Glimmer Mists.
I am teaching watercolor classes and what better way to catch some eye candy than by using Tattered Angels Glimmer Mists on my advertising poster.
In honor of the copyright info, I printed up a sample poster of classes onto vellum. The actual classes were directly printed onto the paper with the glimmer mist sprayed on the surface and oh my… the presentation was terrific!!! Let’s hope this poster catches my beginner painters who want to learn how to watercolor.
I got so excited about the results, I ran out and posted my advertisements forgetting to take additional photos. A true indicator of how well Tattered Angels Glimmer Mists can add sparkle and excitement to any announcement.
Materials used to make the advertisement background:
Tattered Angels – Pure Mistable papers 12×12 suede
Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist: Walnut Gold, True Turquoise, Blarney, Tutti Frutti
personal paper trimmer
Wet the full sheet of mistable paper with water. Two ways to accomplish this; run paper under a tap of running water or completely wash the paper with a wide brush.
Tip: This process is going to be called the “wet on wet” painting method of watercolor painting.
After gently rolling the glimmer in the bottle, open the bottle and pour a tiny bit of mist directly onto wet paper and watch the magic happen. Drop glimmer in opposite corners and tilt the paper until you get the “look”. Dry paper with heat tool to avoid mudding of the magic of powerful shimmer color.
Add additional mist and use a paint brush to direct some of the poured mist on your paper.
I am so happy with the magic that Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist created on this Suede Tattered Angels Pure Mistable paper. Isn’t it a great way to announce any event that will sure “shimmer and shine” over its participants?
