Good morning, all and happy Monday! Resist is the technique of the month and the theme is so easy a kid could do it. I just could not RESIST making a mini that a kid could easily recreate, with a little help from mom.
I stamped a vintage dictionary page with embossing ink and used clear embossing power to create the sunburst. Then, I misted with Sun Sisters Glimmer Mist and wiped the resist area with a paper towel. Rings and mini alphas from 7Gypsies.
I used resist paper for all the pages. Cut 4×6 pages so 4×6 photos can easily be added to the backs of each page for a full page photo and then mom can machine stitch around the edges. Glimmer Mist used in Twinkle Light Yellow. Mini alphas from 7Gypsies.
Page misted with Summer Glow Glimmer Mist and tags are misted with Postcard Glimmer Mist from the 7Gypsies Postale line.
Our local fair will be next month and photos will be added later and pages will be machine stitched. Vintage Pink Glimmer Mist used here.
Chalkboard Glimmer Mist in Splash
Glimmer Mist in Lobster
Chalkboard Glimmer Mist in Firefly. Journaling will be added to the tags.
Glimmer Mist in Dragonfly
I’m not really a purple girl, but I LOVE this color! Glimmer Mist in Cranberry Zing
Glimmer Mist in Bubble Light Green
Another favorite. Glimmer Mist in Graphite
Chalkboard Glimmer Mist in High Heel Teal
Glimmer Mist in Poodle Pink.
That’s it. So easy. So fun. And, ready to go when I get those photos back from the printer, after the fair.
I hope you have enjoyed this easy mini and I hope you have a fabulous week!
