Hello again! This is Jana from Scrapbook Abundance. I’m back to the Creative Studio with a simple idea. This time I used the Canvas Corp papers to create a card. Here it is….
The idea is to use different pieces – stripes of teared paper to create a background. The teared paper is well distressed. I used different patterns and at Canvas Corp you can find many choices! Mine was to combine stripes of Black and Ivory Postcards, Black and Ivory Zig Zag Reverse, Black and Kraft Diamonds and Chocolate and Ivory Big Stripe. They work great together in my opinion and of course I payed some attention in alternating light and darker tones of paper.
Of course I used some stitching to follow my Gothic Fairytale style. I added also some Metal Hardware to complete the card and some wire as well to emphasize the “Birthday Wishes” tag, which is also from Canvas Corp.
This is a simple how to use some paper left overs. I suggest you to find many beautiful combinations that Canvas Corp offers!
