Canvas Corp Scrap Pack ATCs

When making ATCs you don’t need to have perfect 12×12 sheets of paper; they are a perfect way of using up your scraps and bits and bobs that you have hiding away in the corners of your craft area. With this idea in our minds (and plenty of other ideas as our heads are always full of them) we have put together packs called: Canvas Corp Scraps by the Pound (Scrap Pack). In them, you can find everything you might need for your mini-crafting needs: scraps of canvas and burlap, ticking, cut offs of various papers, specialty papers, E-flute, chalkstock and plenty more, meaning that we are even throwing in some pieces of string, mini clothespins and other tags and tickets. we’re just making sure that you benefit from our dislike to wasting scraps – so we are sending them your crafty way! Doesn’t it sound amazing?!

So, let’s talk about those full-of-goodness Scrap Packs and ATCs…
Two of our Crew ladies have prepared for you very different pieces of mini-art in which they used our CC scraps.

Milo loves textures and layers and her projects are always full of them. She shares a set of Love inspired ATCs and a shot video on how she made them.

Milo explains her inspiration: ‘I’ve made those ATC cards for a trade where the theme is LOVE. I wanted to feature a heart shape and a piece of text. Love is so important in our lives; I wanted to celebrate it in my ATCs.’

Our second designer today, Linda, shares her Mixed Media ATCs with Texture Paste and Tattered Angels Glimmer Mists.

Linda’s hints when making the ATCs:

1. Use texture paste and stencil over Damask Tissue to make a background and spray with Glimmer Mists. Once dry, cut into ATC cards.
2. Spray die-cut butterflies with Glimmer Mists and adhere to ATC. Tie jute, bow then place on top of each butterfly.
3. Select a word, spray with Glimmer Mists, edge with ink and adhere to the center of each butterfly.
