Canvas Corp Brands “Family” Challenge {enter to win}

We are entering the late spring 2016 and it is time for us to present our first public challenge. We have done a lot of Crew challenges in the past, so this year we decided to invite YOU to take part in a couple of our challenges to!  If you are not sure what the Crew is, it is a great group of amazing designers from around the world that support the Canvas Corp Brands product lines with creative projects, inspiration, support and guidance.  This year the Crew has been putting their heads together to create some fun and exciting events that they would love for YOU to get involved in.  If you are interested in applying for the Crew, they bring on new members at the end of each year, so be on the look out for announcements starting this fall.  To learn more about the Crew you can visit the Canvas Corp Brands Website.

Mood Board

Our 2nd Challenge this year is all about Family! The word family summons so many things – heritage, weddings, birthdays, new family members, travels – well if you think about it – most things in your life has something connection to family. This month we want YOU to share your family stories with us. To participate all you need to do is link up your project using the linky tool in the bottom of this post.

You also have these rules to follow:

Type of project: Layout, Art Journal, ATC card, Mixed Media, Cards, sew something or make other off the page projects. Eveeryting is  allowed in this challenge. Your project MUST have a connection to the word Family in some way.

Colors: You need to use the color shades in the mood board pictured above. White and black are allowed as compliment.

Last day to enter: June 5

Kim Rippere

These are my father’s mother’s boars hair brushes. Dad just sent them to me. They are resting on family genealogy books that my dad did about 20 years ago. Her family and his father’s family. And piece of paper from the Heirloom collection! On the back of the tag I have put some basic information about her and the brushes.

Marie Heiderscheit

This is a page I’ve been working on in the recollections journal. Used lots of CCB goodies! I used lilac rose and black orchid chalkboard paints for the background.

Christine Santos

  I’ve used the plaid paper from the Heirloom collection, TA mistable paper, & lots of TA paints.

Mandy Leever-Koel

I used from the Heirloom collection: Cameras on ivory and Life story. I used Black & Kraft Sonnet reverse. Glimmer Mists: Boardwalk, Pomegranate, Pink Coral,  Periwinkle bouquet. Glimmer Glam: Tanzanite and Golden goddess. And I used Decor & Diy paint “Rose”.

Lena Holmström

I made a family book. I used an old book , old leather jacket and Heirloom collection.Lace i used is made by my mom.

Evelyn Walter

I made a canvas, using a photo of the wedding of my grandparents in 1929. For my canvas I used papers from the Wanderlust Mixed Media Pad, Glimmer Mists and Chalkboard violet rose from Canvas Corp Brands.
