Canvas to keep & admire - Wedding Challenge

There are some things that are common to all of scrapbookers: we scrap the firist things more that the next ones. Like the first kid has more photos and more layouts than the second and the next ones. Same thing happens with weddings. My first born got a huge scrapbooking album with his wedding photos. The second daughter wedding was fairly scrapped with multiple pages. And the third one? She maybe has a dozen layout pages done. So when I’ve seen this Wedding challenge I decided to make a large altered canvas with this daughter’s wedding photo. This was a Friday morning garden wedding and the colors of the challenge moodboard were just perfect fit . So dear Nitzan and Samuel- this canvas is for you to keep and to admire!

step 1

Glue the Origins Blooms paper over 35*35” canvas as shown using gel medium. Use small stencils with Crackle texture paste to add texture around the corners of the canvas. Ovelap the Origin paper here and there.

step 2

When crackle paste is dry add more texture with more stencils. Mist the canvas with a mix of Glimmer mists, but mostly with Wedding pink and let it dry. Hand cut Cosmpose your life paper flowers and arrange the cluster with the photo over the canvas.

step 3

Mist the speciality paper and all other paper pieces with the same two TA mists. Add more Wedding Pink mist around glued photo and papers. Paint the bare chipboard title with High Impact black paint.
