City Lights – Urban Travel Challenge

Today, Crew Member  Viktoriya Porechnaya share a layout inspired by our June Challenge “Urban Travel”.

This is what Viktoriya tell us abut her project: So many ideas about our Challenge were in my head, but I couldn’t stop for one of it. Suddenly I took a look through the window . Modern city is so much glass and neon lights! So my project is about it. I used piece of glass and colorful Stained Glass from Tattered Angels for background and clear acetate image of city. Add bright splashes and accents for urban updates.

Products from Canvas Corp Brands:

Tattered Angels Stained Glass Paint Aqua, Hot Pink, Orange,
Lemon, Lavender
Tattered Angels Chalkboard Mist Polka Dot Pink, Alaskian Salmon, Canary,
Teal High Heel
Tattered Angels Glimmer Glam Goddess

Step 1

Using TA Stained Glasses and brush create a “watercolor” background. Put the clear image on it until it wet.

Step 2

Add some splashes with Stained Glasses. Let it dry. Color cheapboard letters using bright TA Chalkboards.

Step 3

Add letters , foil stars etc and splashes with Glimmer Glame for shining

Have you entered your project for the June Challenge yet?   If you have not submitted – here are the details on how to enter.

I live with my partner and my two children, in a small village the North of Sweden. I work as a Intensive Care Nurse (with Cardiology as speciality). My "style" is colourful and playful. I often use a lot of papers and embellishments. I try to have the photo in focus, and to reflect the feeling of the photo in the layout. I also makes cards and altered projects. If I would call my style something - well maybe Playful Punk Chic? (if i do a romantic layout, I can´t help giving it a playful twist...)
